What Galaxy Engine Is Intended to Solve
Most teams rebuild models, APIs, permissions, forms and migrations separately for every application layer.
Current status
A working early implementation or internal prototype that still needs validation before commercial use.
Public capability claims are intentionally conservative and limited to the current product status and approved roadmap.
Architecture Overview
Metadata definitions drive database schema, document runtime, permissions, APIs and UI surfaces from one source of truth.
Metadata Layer
Application definitions describe models, fields, relationships, permissions and workflows before code-specific surfaces are generated.
Runtime Layer
The runtime is intended to turn approved metadata into records, APIs, validation rules and operational application behavior.
Interface Layer
Admin workspaces, portals and developer-facing tools are planned to read from the same application metadata instead of duplicating structure.
Operations Layer
Migrations, jobs, audit logs, approvals and site lifecycle features are part of the roadmap for production SaaS management.
Galaxy Ecosystem
Galaxy Engine, Galaxy Desk, and Galaxy Studio form a connected developer ecosystem. Each component serves a distinct role while sharing the same metadata-driven foundation.
Galaxy Engine
Metadata-driven Python application framework for building business systems, SaaS products, portals and APIs.
Galaxy Desk
Application workspace and administration UI generated from product metadata.
Galaxy Studio
Visual application builder for models, fields, relationships, permissions, workflows, reports and APIs.

Technical FAQ
Is Galaxy Engine commercially live?
No. It is currently labelled as Prototype in the public portfolio. Commercial claims should wait until the product reaches a verified live milestone.
Is Galaxy Engine the same as Galaxy Framework?
The website treats them conservatively as separate public references until source documentation confirms the exact relationship. Galaxy Framework is described as older internal engineering patterns.
Are Galaxy Desk and Galaxy Studio included in Galaxy Engine?
They are currently presented as related but separate portfolio entries with their own statuses. The website does not claim a finalized product bundle.
Can visitors try a public demo?
No public demo is published yet. The product page uses demo status messaging until a real hosted prototype or approved walkthrough exists.
